Child care Solicitor
Creighton & Partners is a leading specialist family law firm with a long-standing reputation for excellence in children law work. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed family solicitor to join our well-established team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of London’s leading children law practices, handling complex public and private law matters within a large and highly experienced team of specialist lawyers.
The successful candidate will:
- Have up to 4 years PQE.
- Have experience managing their own family law caseload and drafting a broad range of court documents.
- Have advocacy experience and be keen to attend court regularly to further develop their advocacy skills and confidence.
- Demonstrate excellent drafting and case management skills.
- Have a good understanding of, and confidence in navigating, the legal aid system.
- Be motivated to work towards Children Panel accreditation.
- Be passionate about access to justice and achieving the best outcomes for children and families.
- Be enthusiastic, hardworking, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality client service.
- Experience undertaking inquest work is desirable though not required.

Children Panel Solicitor
Applications are invited from experienced Children Panel solicitors to join our team of specialist child care solicitors based at our Central London and Staines Offices.
Established in 1999, Creighton & Partners is a specialist family law firm with offices in Central London, South London and Staines-Upon Thames.

Creighton & Partners offer a unique specialist service representing children, Children’s Guardians, parents and local authorities in complex public law child protection cases and private family law matters.
We are rated as one of The Times Best 200 Law Firms (Family Category) and one of our solicitors was recently voted as LAPG’s Legal Aid Lawyer of the year.
Whilst being based in London and the South East, our clients are based across the country as well as abroad, often dealing with international issues, as well as those within England and Wales.
Our Child Care team has a wealth of experience in acting for parents and children involved with social services both pre proceedings and during proceedings. Our team assists with all matters including applications for emergency protection orders, care orders, supervision orders, secure accommodation orders, special guardianship orders (including advice upon support plans), adoption and applications under the Inherent Jurisdiction of the High Court. Many members of our team are members of the Law Society’s Children Panel. All our solicitors are supported by a team of skilled paralegals.
