What is Mental Health Tribunal?
The Mental Health Tribunal is the Court which has the power to discharge and make recommendations for persons detained in hospital under a section of the Mental Health Act.
Our team has many years of expertise in such work and have represented both patients who are detained further to criminal proceedings as well as those brought into hospital from the community. We have also successfully appealed a number of tribunal decisions where there has been an error in the application of the law.
Funding for such work is non means tested. We are therefore able to represent all clients under Public funding (legal Aid).
We are able to travel to all hospitals within the London area and across the South East of England.
