She then moved to a Local Authority in-house legal department, before joining the firm in 2010. Here, she undertakes a variety of public law cases, where she has represented Local Authorities and parents, although she currently acts primarily for children, either through their Guardians, or separately representing those children who are assessed as competent to instruct their solicitor directly. Kathryn undertakes the majority of her own advocacy, including at contested final hearings.

Kathryn is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel.

In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys travelling, cooking, running and music.
