Elysia completed a degree in Law and European Legal Studies (LLB) at the University of Reading in 2018, spending a year at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. She went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at BPP University in 2021.

Elysia joined Creighton & Partners as a paralegal in the Child Care department in 2018 and has since completed her training contract at the firm. She qualified as a solicitor in March 2023.

Elysia represents Local Authorities and parents. Elysia represents clients in care proceedings, PLO pre-proceedings and in proceedings relating to private child arrangements. Elysia also assists on cases  concerning international child abduction and international adoption. Elysia has represented clients in cases involving complex Fact Finding Hearings.
