Tony McGovern and Isabel Wilson, instructing Sally Stone KC and Henry Lamb, represented the subject children through their respective children’s guardians in A Local Authority v MA & Ors [2026] EWFC 130. The judgment followed a complex fact-finding hearing to determine who had deliberately contaminated a child’s formula milk with a substantial quantity of salt.
The case was further complicated by the exceptionally high levels of salt involved and the fact that the child lived in a multi-generational household, giving rise to a large number of potential perpetrators.
