Kelly worked in private practice in Islington for over 15 years representing parents, guardians, children and other family members and then spent two years as an in-house advocate for Islington Council Children’s Services, gaining invaluable insight into the care system.

Kelly specialises in childcare advocacy and is one of the firm’s specialist advocates. Kelly has dealt with cases at all levels of court and as such has dealt with the most serious and complex cases, including cases involving the death of a child; allegations of non-accidental injury; sexual abuse and alleged cases of fabricated or induced illness, often where there are concurrent criminal proceedings.

Kelly has a great deal of experience in representing the vulnerable, including parents with learning difficulties and drug or alcohol addiction, many of whom have been in care themselves.
